We are honoured to collaborate with The STaR Association in Australia. The organisation enables children with disabilities and additional needs to access meaningful and lifelong learning, and to make the best of their abilities.
About The STaR Foundation
- STaR stands for Special Education, Teacher and Training, and Research.
- The first STaR program commenced in 2002 with just five children and only one childcare centre.
- As of 2025, STaR has supported more than 600 children and their families across 30 childcare centres.
- Recognising the need for lifelong learning opportunities, STaR is committed, since 2020, to also support post-school special education programs in community-based and supported living settings.

Say hello to The Australian Foundation for Fostering Learning in the Philippines Inc. (AFFLIP)
Axi proudly supports The Australian Foundation for Fostering Learning in the Philippines Inc. (AFFLIP), which helps us address the educational gap that disadvantages thousands of children from underprivileged areas.
AFFLIP focuses on supporting the learning of students in poorly resourced schools. At present, their work is dedicated to elementary public schools in Davao City in the southern Philippines.
About AFFLIP
- Their programmes, reaching over 21,000 students, focus on: health and nutrition; literacy; scholarships; schools learning network; and outdoor learning.
- More than $82,000 AUD were contributed to the Health and Nutrition programme (provision of gardening equipment, first aid supplies, first aid training, etc).
- Over 1,000 students at risk of dropping out of school received annual scholarships and were encouraged to continue their education.
- Provision of tablets and sim cards to students of Talomo schools to enable them to access online learning programs or to utilise technology for research purposes.
City in the Community
Manchester City FC are heavily involved with charity, local intiatives, and community, so partnering with the club allows us to get involved in a number of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Founded in 1986, City in the Community is Man City's charity dedicated to empowering healthier lives through football.
About City in the Community
- Their programs focus on: healthy people; healthy futures; and healthy communities.
- The charity offers free football sessions for youth in Manchester, supporting inclusivity and community connection.
- Their ‘Healthy Goals’ project raised £250,000 in 2023. At its core it aims to uplift youths' physical and mental well-being by creating new community football spaces in Manchester.
- Numerous programs are run on an annual basis, all of them targeting physical and mental well-being, personal development, and community cohesion.
Local initiatives
At Axi, our people are our greatest assets. Real change starts when people roll their sleeves up, and we are incredibly proud how our team works tiredlessly to make a difference.
Local initiatives include, among others, gift-giving drives, participating in sports events to raise awareness and funds for charity organisations, and donating to local animal shelters. Through these efforts, we aim to bring lasting, positive change, continuously exploring new ways to support communities everywhere, no matter where we are.
